The small and intimate setting allows guests to focus on what truly matters: the food. With a menu that emphasizes quality and authentic flavors, each dish at Man Man is a testament to the meticulous care that goes into preparing the unagi.

The highlight of the menu is undoubtedly the grilled unagi, which is tender, moist, and bursting with flavor. Dishes are beautifully presented without being overwhelmed by heavy sauces, allowing the natural taste of the eel to shine through. Many patrons rave about the perfect balance of flavors—neither too sweet nor too salty—making each bite satisfyingly delightful.

For those seeking to enhance their meal, additional toppings like a soft-boiled egg ($1.80) or extra spring onions ($1.50) can elevate your dining experience. If you're feeling indulgent, consider adding ikura for just $5.00. And don't forget the drinks! Whether it's a refreshing Sapporo Premium Beer or a comforting green tea (with free refills), there's something to quench every thirst.

Reviewers have praised the freshness of the fish and the light grilling technique employed, which ensures the eel retains its delicate texture without the charred flavor of over-grilling. One guest emphasized the value of the 120g rice set (priced at $34.50 nett), while another enjoyed the cold udon set for $30.50, though they found the portion of unagi a touch small in comparison.

All in all, Man Man Japanese Unagi stands out as a must-visit restaurant for unagi lovers and novices alike. With its pristine focus on quality, serene ambiance, and attentive service, it's a culinary journey that you will want to return to time and again. Whether you’re relishing a meal alone or sharing a cozy dinner with friends, your experience is sure to be memorable.

Good food. The fish is very fresh tasting. Meat is very soft. Fish is lightly grilled. Not like some that looks coated with a thick layer of sauce. I ordered the 120g rice set. Cost $34.50 nett. Went a second time and order the cold udon set. Small piece of unagi. Cost $30.50 nett. Full of carbohydrate from the udon and rice but little fish to go along. Better order the 120g rice set.

Today we walked all the way from Tanglin to here using the park connector. Balance taste, not too sweet not too salty & not too saucy. Eel doesn't have that charred flavor if you are those that like crispy charred on the sides type of grilling.Eel is a little moist too You need to grill it slightly longer . Rice is a little cold. Overall a pleasant dinning experience. Small & Cozy . Not crowded can eat peacefully ! Loved their wasabi!!! Power !!!
